Concord's counselor is here to help every student at CHS succeed. I work with students, parents, and teachers by facilitating conferences, helping to plan schedules, giving curriculum and scholarship guidance, and addressing personal and social needs. I will do my best to meet the needs of our students at each grade level.

Programs and Happenings
M.A.S.H. (Medical Applications of Science for Health) is a summer program for 10th and 11th graders interested in a medical career after high school. Please see the Counselor's outer office for an application. There are two opportunities: one through Baptist Health (they accept 10, 11, and 12th graders) in Heber Springs and one through UAMS and White River (they accept 10 & 11th grade only) in Batesville. Heber Springs deadline is March 31, 2020 and Batesville deadline is March 15, 2020.
There will be multiple opportunities for high school students to attend the six AEGIS programs that will take place this summer in the attached file. We try to encourage the secondary students in our coop area and our school to apply for these great opportunities. Please click on the link to see all the great summer opportunities available. Discover UALR is their fall open house. They have two Discover UALR events for students to choose from this year: Friday, October 7 or Friday, October 28. As always, attendees will be eligible to win special scholarships, and we will waive the $40 application fee for attendees who apply at a Discover UALR event. Students can RSVP now at ualr.edu/admissions/discover.
Lyon College invites Honors Students for Honors Day. Students must apply online at www.lyon.edu/apply & be accepted to Lyon.
